Serving the Lord with Gladness

The Ministry of Music and Worship Arts is a great ministry where you can put, into a practical way, your stewardship of time and talent. Many of you and your children have exceptional vocal and instrumental abilities that can contribute to the mission of our church. I am appealing to you to prayerfully commit your gifts for the purpose of kingdom building. We all have professional and personal schedules that demand our time, but God also deserves some of our sacrifice of time and talent, just because of who He is and what He allows us to fulfill in our personal commitments. Yes, there is a sacrifice to attend rehearsal preparation and the sacrifice of time to show up and lead worship. However, through these sacrifices the majesty of God is exalted, the saints of God are edified and the lost are evangelized.

What will you render unto the Lord for His benefits to you? Will you continue to use the time management excuse and remain in the pew? Or will you prayerfully commit to serving in the Ministry of Music and Worship Arts? Here are significant ways you can commit your stewardship of time and talent in service to God and our church:

• The Oasis of Love Mass Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings before the first, second and third Sundays at 6:00 p.m. and leads worship on the first,second and third Sundays in each month.
• The Church Orchestra and Rhythm Section also rehearses on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. and accompanies the choirs for Sunday worship services. We have several other music ensembles where you can service or enroll your children for their stewardship of service.
• The Inspirational Youth Choir rehearses on Saturdays before the third and fourth Sunday at 10:00 a.m., and leads worship for the fourth Sunday 10:00 a.m. service.
• The Genesis Elementary Choir rehearses on Saturdays before the first and second Sunday at 9:45 a.m. and sings special music the second Sunday 10:00 a.m. service.
• The Young Adult Ensemble rehearses on Thursday evenings before the third and fourth Sunday at 6:00 p.m. and leads worship for the fourth Sunday worship services.
• The Forgiven Ensemble rehearses on Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m. and leads worship for the Wednesday evening services.
• The Ministry of Dance rehearses on Saturday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and ministers for special programs throughout the year.
