• CIA (Christians In Actions)
  This intimate ministry works for the sole purpose of ministering to members of Shiloh who are in nursing homes. We serve as a link to our members who are unable to attend regular church services. Christians In Action fellowship with those members through prayers, songs, and words of encouragement.
  
  The Ministry also establishes communication with families of our members and let them know that someone cares. For a person to be effective in this ministry, a loving heart for the Lord and others is all that is required.
• Barnabas
  ... is here to encourage, motivate and inspire those who have suffered loss of a job or any financial setback. Also, to bring words of cheer to those who are discouraged due to personal loss or tragedy, as well as to comfort the bereaved.
  The name is taken from Barnabus, a New Testament Apostle who was called "Son of Encouragement" because of his consistent use of these gifts.

  Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church is ‘The Oasis of Love’. Therefore, it is the goal of the First Impressions Ministry to show that love of Christ to our guests by welcoming them in such a way that they would want to return again and again. We are considered the ‘front liners’. That means it is not our job, but our joy to insure that not only our guests, but members as well, feel the warmth as you enter the doors of our home.
  We understand that it is difficult to break into a community when everyone is comfortable with their own routines and their own acquaintances.  Being a newcomer is similar to going to someone else’s family reunion. Everybody knows each other.  B, but we seek to include everyone into our family.  
  Our hearts are open and our prayer is to make the right First Impression. A big smile will be waiting!
  If you have a big smile to offer and a spirit of hospitality, then this may be the ministry for you.
• Health
  The Health Ministry assists our church members and guests by being readily available when an illness occurs. It operates on an as needed basis offering secondary emergency resources during worship services and activities. We also work to increase awareness on health related issues. We provide health related activities such as: Eye Screening; Glaucoma Screening; Cataract Screening; Prostate seminars and screenings and Breast Cancer screenings.
  If you have a background in the health care profession or simply a loving heart - then this Ministry may be for you.
